Short bio:
Natacha Raffin is a professor in economics at the ENS Paris-Saclay where she has been a faculty member since 2022. She is the director of the Master degree program in economics since 2022. During 2016-2022, she has been professor at University Rouen Normandy and during 2010-2016, assistant professor at Paris-Nanterre University.
She completed her Ph.D. at University Paris 1, Paris School of Economics. Her main fields of interest are environmental economics, economic growth, health and population dynamics. Much of her work has been on improving the understanding of the twofold interactions between economic development and the environment overtime, through the particular channel of health. She has also investigated changes in fertility behaviors in recent decades in developing countries as well as the evolutions of patriarchal regimes along the process of development.
Natacha is the instructor for macroeconomics in the undergraduate program and public economics in the master’s program.
